Our History

The new Monteverdi project, Centro Autorizado de Enseñanzas Elementales y Profesionales (Authorized Centre for Elementary and Professional Music Studies), was created in 2018 by the Music Department of British Montessori and Inspirartem Music School, as a result of their similar ideas on how to offer a musical education alternative of the highest quality in the Northwest Sierra area of Madrid.

Also inspired by Claudio Monteverdi’s famous quote The purpose of all good music is to affect the soul, we created a project with the idea of continually motivating our students in order to encourage the greatest development of their talent, through innovation and new pedagogical techniques imparted by an experienced educational team.
